Fixed Index Annuity
Guaranteed protection with growth potential

When you’re looking for upside potential

with guaranteed downside protection

A fixed index annuity is a tax-deferred, long-term savings option that provides principal protection in a down market and opportunity for growth. It gives you more growth potential than a fixed annuity along with less risk and less potential return than a variable annuity. A fixed index annuity is a contract between you and an insurance company that provides a series of immediate or deferred payments that can be used for retirement income in exchange for a single or recurring payment, also known as a premium.

Returns are based on the performance of an underlying index, such as the S&P 500® Composite Stock Price Index, a collection of 500 stocks intended to provide an opportunity for diversification and represent a broad segment of the market. While the benchmark index does follow the market, as an investor, your money is never directly exposed to the stock market.

Who would benefit from an FIA?

The suitability of an FIA depends on an individual's financial goals, risk tolerance, and overall financial situation.

By starting early, you can take advantage of the FIA's potential for long-term growth, as well as the power of compounding. An investor with a  longer investment horizon and is comfortable with limited liquidity while your money builds compound interest, an FIA can offer an opportunity for tax-deferred growth and potential market-linked returns.
